For those unable to travel to Rome for the Jubilee Pilgrimage, we invite you to join us on a three-day walking pilgrimage to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Palmerston North. Together we will walk and pray for the grace of more vocations. The Cathedral is one of the designated sites where the Jubilee Year plenary indulgence may be received.

Route:
Friday 12 Dec: Marton to Mount Lees Reserve
Saturday 13 Dec: Mount Lees Reserve to Taonui School
Sunday 14 Dec: Taonui School to Russell Street School, Palmerston North
Parishioners can join the pilgrimage on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Transportation of luggage (tent, etc) will only be available at the start of the pilgrimage on any given day.

Accommodation:
Friday: Mount Lees Reserve
Saturday: Taonui School

Expressions of Interest:
To help with logistics and catering, all parishioners intending to walk all or part of the way need to indicate this on the sheet in the church vestibule.

Food:
There will be the options to have meals prepared for you by a dedicated catering team. See details at the back of the church.

Transportation:
To support the pilgrimage, we will need 2 safety vehicles and 1 support van for the pilgrimage itself and an additional 2 vehicles for transporting equipment between campsites.

Volunteers:
A pilgrimage of this size requires a lot of planning and helpers. Volunteers are needed to ensure we all have an enjoyable and safe pilgrimage. If you are willing to help, please add your name to the sheet at the back of the church.
