Forty Hours Devotion to be held in Whanganui

From Friday, 13 September through Sunday, 15 September, 2019, St Anthony's Church will hold the Forty Hours Devotion—the continual exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament—as a means of repairing for sins, and for the intentions of our Rosary Crusade :
- The special protection of Mary over New Zealand, especially for the unborn and the elderly
- The defeat of the Abortion Reform Bill and End of Life Choices Bill proposed in ParlIament,
- The conversion of sinners, and
- The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Zealand society.

Friday, 13 September — Feria
- Sung Mass of the Blessed Sacrament with Procession and Litany of the Saints @ 11:05 a.m.
- Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament exposed @ 5:30 p.m.
- All-Night Adoration
Saturday, 14 September — Exaltation of the Holy Cross
- Benediction and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by Mass @ 8:00 a.m
- Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and All-Day Adoration following after Mass
- Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament exposed @ 5:30 p.m.
- All-Night Adoration
Sunday, 15 September — 14th Sunday after Pentecost
- Benediction and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament, followed by Low Mass @ 7:00 a.m
Please consider joining the clergy and religious for an hour or more of adoration of Our Sacramental Lord, or acts of reparation.
